Please help. No SD card error. Why am I getting this message?

Please help. No SD card error

My tablet was working perfectly but now whenever I go to download something I get a "no sd card " error. But the weird thing is when I go to storage it says my SD card is mounted and when I go to file manager I can view all my data on my SD card. I just can't download or use my camera without getting SD card error. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would turn the device off, take the SD out.
Wait a few minutes (about 20) then put the SD back in.
Turn the device on and see if it works after all that.

While the SD is out, put it in another device, preferably a computer, to see if it has enough storage and that it works fine.
