My tablet won't let me sign into the internet. How do I fix this

It won't pick up any wi-fi. I've tried from several sources. It's saying error, and to call customer service. But I can't find any number for customer service with the packaging. I've only had it 4 days

If it's an off-brand device, there's a greater chance of hardware or firmware defects, so I wouldn't waste too much time trying to figure it out--bring it back to the store for an exchange or return.
