Why does my Alcatel Android Onetouch beep intermittently for no apparent reason it is new?

my Alcatel android onetouch beeps intermittently for no apparent reason it is new

I've has it for about 2 weeks and it beeps 24/7 at odd intervals. I've taken it to a T-Mobil tech and he didn't fix it. A friend went on line and said it is probably battery related.

It might be a recurring notification setting. I think that is in Settings>accessibility.
