How do I use my phone on wi-fi to play games?

I have a deactivated Kyocera phone that I inherited(never owned a phone before because I'm deaf) & want to use it to play games on. how can I do this?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you set the phone up yet? If you're starting from scratch and going through the Setup Wizard, you should be able to skip the carrier activation screen. Then just turn on Airplane Mode (which turns off the cell radio), and then turn on wi-fi. If you connect to a wi-fi network, you should be able to access the web and install apps from Google Play Store.
