Can't get Play Store to work on an unsupported tablet

I have Acme TB1010 tablet which uses 1Mobile Market instead of the Play Store. It has some Google apps like Youtube and Chrome but still it's a crappy app. I downloaded and installed latest Google Play services (the version in the tablet was very old) and Play Store apk's. But as soon as I launch Play Store it crashes.
Things I've tried:
-Clearing cache/data of play services and play store
-Reinstalling play store
-Uninstalling play services updates
-Rebooting
-Factory reset
-Disabling/enabling Downloads app
-Re-adding Google account (this time I can browse apps for a few seconds and I get update approval notification but play store still crashes, afterwards crashes immediately on launch)
-Putting apks in system/app folder and setting permissions with Root Explorer as described here: forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39503399&postcount=4 (this time I can browse apps but play store crashes when I try to install or update any app, afterwards crashes immediately on launch)

Welcome to Android Central! The tablet is most likely not certified for Google Play. Google Play Store and other Google Services are therefore not guaranteed to work. Sorry!
