Why does my mobile data kept being disconnected?

My mobile data kept being disconnected

I changed my sim card for two days before I reuse the old one. However, it doesn't work. The H icon in my notification bar keeps disappearing. So it always disconnected before I starts anything. Please help.

The fault may be with the phone or the SIM.
