Why do my service and data shut off for unknown reasons?

Service and Data shut off for unknown reasons

I've just noticed that I have absolutely no service in areas that I typically have service and my Data won't even turn on. The phone is brand new (Straight Talk ZTE Rapido) and it has only been activated for a couple of days now. I don't know what to do and I'm technically disinclined when it comes to technology. I would really appreciate any help anybody might be willing to offer.
