Why don't the photos taken on my camera save on the sd card?

Hi.
I have a Huawei Ascend.
I have a 32gb SD card in it. Have only had it in there for a couple of weeks. There is about 30gb free on the card.
Today my camera says that my SD card memory is full and that any photos taken will be saved to the phone.
Im wondering why that is?
I tried saving the photos and videos I took today onto the SD card, when I tapped 'paste' it deleted them! I've even deleted the couple of apps I had saved on the SD and restarted my phone. My camera still says my SD memory is full. I've checked everything.
This is my 2nd SD card. My last SD (8gb) that I had for years stopped working, so I bought this one. I don't know if its the phone or what. I've had this phone since January this year. I really need my photos to be saving on my SD card again! Please help!

try formatting the SD card, that way it'll wipe everything on it and start again. Also try plugging in the SD card to another device and see if you are able to transfer files. That way you will be able to determine if it's the SD card or the phone that has the issue.
