    Default launcher question.

    I'm getting a G2 which has vanilla android. skin my phone with a launcher like launcher pro. can i delete it and go back to vanilla android when i get bored or tired.

    is it as simple as just uninstalling it off of m phone.

    Yes you can. Below is instructions from the Launcher Pro website:


    Go to device settings --> “Applications” --> “Manage Applications” --> “LauncherPro” --> “Clear Defaults”
    Next, press the home button, and choose whichever home replacement you’d like to use.

    If that does not work, in the "Manage Applications" part above, go to "Home", and then clear defaults for that too.

    One thing you can do is download HomeSwitcher, it's a simple icon and once you click it, it shows your home launcher and LPP.

    +1 for home switcher, especially if you want to be testing ADW Launcher while you are at it. Doesn't hurt to have three going and see which one suites you needs then delete the one(s) you won't want.
