Why aren't application icons visible on the Menu screen?

[AC Question]

Application Icons are not visible on Menu screen.

I have created a folder with name Games and all my Games App are under the same folder.
Yesterday I have enabled safe mode and as when I disabled the Safe mode, the Games folder is not available on my Menu screen, neither any of the games app is available on menu screen.
But the same applications are installed at my system and can be checked at Settings -> Application -> Application Manager -> All Application.

Please help me in created App icon on my main screen and Menu Screen.

Do you have a Samsung device? I remember a thread where a member reported a similar problem. It was fixed after clearing cache for Touchwiz in settings - apps - all tab. Worth a try.
