My phone keeps going on and off constantly. Battery fully charged. What could the problem be?

my phone keeps going on and off constantly. Battery fully charged.

I get the same text messages over and over again like over 400 times. I can only do things on my phone for a few seconds then it shuts off and comes back on again.

Is the issue occurred after installing an official update? First try to do a soft reset on your S3 to see if it helps.
1. Take out the battery (leave it out for around 30 seconds)
2. Reinsert the battery.
3. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
If that didn’t work you might want to do a hard reset on your device. Just make sure that your data is backed up before performing this.

Turn the phone off
Press and hold Volume UP and Home (center) button
Press Power until the phone vibrates
Wait until you see the Android logo then release all the buttons
Select Wipe data/Factory reset with VOLUME DOWN, press Power (right hand-side)
Select YES…delete all user data with VOLUME DOWN and then Press Power
After format, press Power again to reboot the phone (select reboot system now)

If this still doesn’t work then you might want to consider flashing a stock ROM on your device. Let me know if you need more help.
