Why does my galaky s5 keep turning on and off?

Well my galaky s5 keeps tuning on and off and we'll the only thing that's help if I charge it, but when I take it off the charger it keeps turning on and off, I even took off the battery for about an hr and turn back on it still done the same thing. I even did a factory reset. Please help me!!!

It may simply need a new battery.

I no expert but I've had that happen and my battery needed to be replaced

I had the same problem, factory reset or soft reset doesn't help. It turns out that the power button is faulty, it's shorted from time to time causing it to turn on by itself or keep rebooting itself indefinitely.
