My screen is locked with an app and won't accept the password, what do I do now?

My Screen is locked with App and wont accept password

I tried to open my phones lockscreen but got the pattern wrong too many times and it locked me out completely. It is asking me to access the phone via my gmail account, but it will not accept my password. I'm locked out of my phone.
I checked my emial and password on my laptop and it is correct and works, but my phone will not accept it. What do I do now????
