What is the difference between an I pad and a hipstreet android tablet?

I have a iPad and I was looking at a hipstreet 7" Android tablet and I was wondering what is the difference? Are downloading apps different or can I download the apps I have on my iPad?

Re: What is the difference between an I pad and a hipstreet android tablet?

Where to begin...

The iPad is a high-end Apple-built device that runs on Apple's proprietary iOS.

The Hipstreet tablet is a "me-too" or "off-brand" Android tablet that likely has a low-end SOC (or CPU) with very little RAM and minimal features with questionable build quality (why do you think it's so cheap?). In all honesty, if you're looking for a device to get a feel for Android to decide if you want to go that way, going with the cheapest one out there will GUARANTEE you will not be happy and will stay with iPads.

Some of the CONCEPTS are the same, you access a "store" app to download apps to the device but any paid purchases you've made on the iPad will not be transferrable. However, there are things you can do with Android devices that you can't do with an iPad.

It depends. Android is a different operating system from iOS, so the proprietary app store is Google Play. Most apps on the Apple app store should also be available or have similar equivalents on Google Play. You can check this by going on https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../https://play.google.com/store&token=jUsIPO9o and looking up apps you have on your iPad to see if there are equivalents.
