svp g14 does not read sim card

why won't my svp g14 read a sim card? I have tried different carrier sims.

Welcome to Android Central! Who's your carrier? We need to make sure the watch is compatible with your carrier's network bands. According to the specs on Amazon, the watch is compatible with GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
