Adapting a tablet to the dasboard of an old car...
I'm looking to interface a tablet to the existing analog sensors on an older car. The temp, oil and gas level sending units are variable resistors with a couple ranging from 10 to 90 ohms for low and high readings.
What I'd like to do is develop a series of digital and analog gauges that would display on the tablet, interfaced to the existing sensors.
Probably has been done, but perhaps not exactly like I'm envisioning it.
Any suggestions? I figure I need to make or buy an interface to the sending units, then write applications on displaying and updating a gauge on the screen.
