I just switched from iphone to Note 5 and I am not receiving texts.

I got a new Note 5 today and the switch has been difficult. I am receiving messages from other android users only. Anyone who is using an iphone cannot text me. They can receive mine, but I cannot receive theirs. Can anyone help or should I go back to verizon and complain?

I did already turn off imessage and facetime on the old phone.
