Speech-To-Text Adds Space At Beginning

Whenever I use the speech-to-text feature to send a text message (for example), it adds a space at the beginning, as though it's indenting a paragraph. It doesn't always do this, but it does it frequently. And it's not just with text messages; it happens with any place I use the speech-to-text feature. This irritates me quite a bit. So, how can I fix this?

I don't want to be the guy that bumps a post, but I'm wondering why nearly a hundred people have viewed this, and none have replied. No ideas? Or is a solution just a pipe dream in this case?
