I love the battery life and durability of my Motorola Droid Maxx that i bought in January 2015. According to another topic thread on this site, the Droid Maxx will probably never be upgraded to Android 5.1 or 6.0.
Because of the apparent lack of upgrades to the Droids, i am looking into other phones. I am leaning toward getting a Nexus for a pure Android/Google software experience but i also like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A’s environment. So now i am torn between getting another Droid, a Nexus, a Galaxy, or something else.
Which phone(s) do y’all recommend? The most important features i want are: long battery life, durability, Verizon compatibility, and (least important) a phone with a tablet counterpart like the Nexus phone/tablet or Galaxy tablet/phone.
