insurance on used phone

I just got a phone on craigslist for really cheap the phone works great except the speaker seams to be blown I'm just wondering wil verizon let me put insurance on it?

I don't think that it is possible to give insurance for a phone. You can take help from android.

No, they only allow insurance if you buy the phone from them.

Did the person you bought it from have some type of invoice or receipt? If it's within a year the manufacture warranty would cover it. You would just need to find an authorized place to fix it or send it back for repair. You would be without your phone for a while though.

Nobody insures a phone, or anything else, until AFTER THEY HAVE TESTED IT to make sure it isn't already broken.

You're looking to steal from them, really. And they're not that dumb.
