Are you sure you're connecting to your signal, not a neighbor's?

Are you sure you have at least one IP address left open in the DHCP server in the router? (You'll have to look in the DHCP section of the router to see which address range it's using. If it uses, say 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.5 and you have 4 devices connected [the router itself is 1], you can't connect any more devices. Addresses 2-5 are in use and it can't assign any address above 5.) You can also try turning the tablet off for about 5 minutes, then trying again. If your router has a WPS button, forget the connection in the phone, push the WPS button on the router and choose WPS button in the Wifi menu in the phone.
