PDF download issues, can I get some help?

PDF download issues

I have downloaded several PDF apps including adobe reader. If I get an email with a PDF I can view it. However, If I download a PDF which saves to My Files>download history it shows up but when you try and click on it says"unable to find applications to perform this action". I don't see away to make it use adobe or any of the others apps. I have also tried using different web browsers ie chrome, firefox, explorer, opera. Also tried clicking within the browser on downloads unsuccessfully. Any help?

You might need to open Acrobat first and then have it open the file. I don't use Acrobat on my computers, phones or tablet. I use Foxit reader. It's small and fast and can list all pdf's on your device. You might give it a try.
