Accidentally deleted "all large files", now camera related apps not working??

The other day I accidentally deleted all "large files" In ES File Explorer for internal memory, instead of the redundancy ones. Luckily I have all important things on my sd, however... Now Instagram won't allow me to take photos, nor will Line Camera, and I'm not sure if this is related but I am no longer able to take photos without an SD card, it says memory is full (which it super isn't). I have a Moto Pure 2015 running Marshmallow. I'd really like to avoid factory reset as its a big PIA. I tried reinstalling all apps giving me issues and restarted the phone several times. I'm not sure what I could have possibly deleted to lead to this.
