No Google Play, Apps, Google Talk Authentication Fail after factory reset

I have an HTC Inspire. After a recent software update the phone would not text specific numbers. When I would try to text them it would just sit there and not send. I brought it to the store and the technician there said he had never seen this before. We did a factory reset.

Now I habve no problem texting anyone, but I cannot log into google play store, I cannot download apps, I cannot access the apps that I saved on my sd card, and I cannot log into google talk because it keeps saying authentication failed.

They tried manually downloading google play but it wouldn't install. I have market on my phone, and I can search for apps, but none of them download. How can I fix this?

Upon manually installing Google Play Store, it says application not installed.

Re: No Google Play, Apps, Google Talk Authentication Fail after factory reset

Some website had an older version of Google play store which I was able to install and now when I try to download things it says:

Messenger could not be downloaded due to an error. (Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:S-7:AEC-7 2BNR-C474-TYXBC])

Other programs get similar notifications.
