Huawei P8 Battery isn't working?

Hi,

I recently dropped my Huawei P8 phone in water, around last week, on Tuesday (not the one that's just gone). I switched it off and put it in rice, then leaving it for a week. Yesterday evening, I left my phone on charge overnight but this morning, when I woke up, it was still on the charging screen with 0%. :c

Has my battery died or has something happened to my phone?
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome.

It could be either. Whichever it is, and despite the care that you took to dry it before attempting to use it again, the prognosis is not necessarily good, because of the progressive nature of water damage. Read this:

It may be worth having the battery tested before deciding whether to buy a new one.
