My Inspire Won't Let Me Root

EDIT: I now have a new problem. I found out the error was my gold card. I recreated it and i pushed the downgrade rom to my phone fine. Im able to get into FASTBOOT, i press the power once once on my phone, and the progress bar shows on my phone, but once thats complete instead of asking me to start updating, it begins checking PD98IMG.zip with a yellow progress bar, and once that loads i get a message on the fastboot screen saying "Main Version is older! Update Fail! Press <POWER> to reboot."
