Most times when I type a word with an! Right after it, it converts it to another word?

Most times when I type a word with an! Right after it, it converts it to another word.

If i type love! It may revert to another word. It has only happened since the most recent update. It happens to a lot of words.
If I type type! It switches to this!
If I type this! It changes to the!
If I type hi! It changes to this!
If I type hello! It changes to this!.
If I type monster! It changes to i!. T

There is no rhyme or reason

What phone and what update? Have you tried a different keyboard? Swype or Swiftkeys are both great!
