Noroot Firewall blocking WIFI Hotspot/Tethering, how can I get it working?

Noroot Firewall blocking WIFI Hotspot/Tethering

So I have been using Noroot Firewall for a couple years and was recently poking around changing some of the app settings. Some time later I was trying to use my phone as a WIFI Hotspot for my laptop and it would no longer work (it worked previously with Noroot Firewall running). I stopped Noroot Firewall and then the Hotspot worked again.

Anybody know what apps/services I need to re-enable in Noroot Firewall to get this working again?

Thanks, but that was the first thing I tried. No response, so I thought I'd see if the Android community had any ideas.

tethering blocked on mine also. this sucks. Also wanted to allow by default and only block one app over cellular. Can't seem to do that either. Hopeless app. Need something like TripMode for windows.
