With my new Moto, on a site like Google News, the site allows you to scroll either vertically or sideways. Sometimes when I'm scrolling vertically, it suddenly thinks I'm scrolling sideways, which I don't want. Have you had this problem? Try it on that site. It also sometimes happens in the Twitter app, in Search Results, which has two columns, for Top Tweets or All Tweets.

(I'm using Chrome with Android 5.1.)

Some of these sites can be a little sensitive to the exact orientation of the swipe. If you start off going a little sideways, it might take that and run with it. Are you sure you're swiping completely vertically?

I'm swiping as vertically as I can. It shouldn't go sideways if I'm just off by a few degrees.
Does it happen to other people?
