I am no sure if this is the correct forum or not, I am looking for a Android device to act as my GPS / Google Maps device. I currently use Garmin and have been for several years but I am finding that Google Maps does a far better job as navigating than Garmin does, and this weekend only proved it for me driving from Toronto, to Syracuse, NY and then down to Little Neck, NY. I have the latest NA maps installed on my device. I have spoken to Garmin who has told me their maps are the same in all their newer devices which means they are a total let down.

I really don't like having to use my phone as my navigation device. I currently have a Note 4. I was hoping there would be a device that I could buy and use solely for this purpose only.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

I use my Note 3 as my GPS., and it works fine. (The differences in maps is that Maps is updated a LOT more frequently - you'll even be routed around accidents.) Any phone with a large enough screen (large enough for you) should be okay.
