I have a zte maven 2 at & t phone. I need to format my sd card. Some of the stuff have gone to my sd card (like alarm, download, ringtones, etc. I don't know how that stuff moved over. So can you or anyone give me step by step instructions (really easy to understand) on how to move my files (which I am sure I did) to format my card and put the files back on. Also can I put all data on it or just what ever goes on it, and can I put apps on it?

Thank you

Welcome to Android Central! Are you sure there are actual files in those directories? It may be that the phone just set up those directories for future use, and that there are no important files in there right now. Using a file manager app (like Total Commander), look through the SD card and see if there are any important files.

You can also go to Settings>Apps, and look for apps that are moved to SD. If there are apps on the SD, then move them back to Internal Storage. If the phone detects an SD card, then certain apps will automatically start saving some data to the card.
