Help w/ Memory Issue

I realize that this may have already been covered in another thread, so if that's the case I apologize. I recently purchased the Optimus S and have been having the same memory issues that it seems most owners are having. My phone was fine, I downloaded a dozen or so apps that I wanted to use, then without even using some of them I started getting the "low memory" message. I've been dumping the apps, figured out that I needed to delete my trash in my email account, and deleted my cache in my browser. Here's my question...I got my internal memory up to 52MB last night, then without doing a thing, I get up this morning and its down to 32MB. How is that?

Data and cache for your apps are in internal storage. It's not just the apps themselves. There are apps that will show you what exactly is using up your internal storage if you want to look into it.
