How to connect faster from Win-PC to SmartPhone?

After connection my Win 7 notebook though USB cable with my old Moto G SmartPhone the device AND folders were visible in WinExplorer after approx.20 seconds.

Now I bought a new smartphone Huawei. When I do the same procedure here the successful connect last approx 5 minutes!

Even pressing F5 does not speed up.

The device itself shows up fast in WinExplorer but the files+folder tree inside need a looooooooooong time

Whats wrong?

How can I speed up the successful FULL connect ?

Do you have any firewall or anti-virus/malware settings bogging things down?

Isn't win7 the one thats really buggy / laggy ? There might be some OS settings to adjust. Win10 is instantaneous... crazy fast.
