eBay Android app signing in issue

I'm having issues logging into the eBay Android app on my note 7. It says "there was an internal error. Please try restarting the app"
Which I have done a few times to no use. Anyone has had this issues n any help is deeply appreciated... Thank u...:)

Try going to the App Manager, select eBay, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

Yes, you're correct--reinstalling the app should have installed the most recent version. I ask this because sometimes people don't keep their apps updated very regularly through the Play Store, and so therefore might be using an out-of-date version.

Try wiping the system cache partition as well, which won't erase any personal data: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-26610
