Can I access the files/turn on the phone with unplugged LCD?

I ****ed up my G3 LCD and disconnected it as it was broken anyway. Now it's teared down, crushed, smashed and, you know, kinda beyond saving. I have some photos that I'd like to access right now but I gotta wait a while for replacement LCD. So yeah, is it safe (or even possible) to turn on/plug the phone into a PC phone with LCD and Digitizer disconnected? Thank you

The device will probably just throw up errors you can't even see. More than likely, nothing will get damaged if you did turn it on, but why even bother. Just wait for the replacement LCD. Patience!
