Are Android Apps Universal?
I know this may be a dumb question but I am curious to know if android apps for the G1 will work for the Hero will work for coming devices. Does that question make sense?

How can you get the apk files? Will devs provide them if you have purchased them before?

Your purchases are linked to your Google account - just re-download the apps from the Market

The problem is I am using the Archos 5 now and it does not have Android Market.
