Jason.html and mobvista seem to automatically download all activity on my galaxy s7 edge daily and I cannot delete or stop these functions. What are these files/ or programs doing and if they are malicious how can i stop them and prevent them from doing this again.

Jason is some JavaScript program, mobvista is a company that works for (sells (your) data to) advertising companies... Don't think I'd want them in my phone....

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be sure, is it definitely "Jason.html", or is it "JSON.html"? Mobvista is an ad network, which is in itself not malicious (although it can be annoying).

EDIT: Dangit, Tim1954 beat me to it!:D

It is Jason.html-it is active on my file log evertime I do anything on my phone. It seems to be attached to quite a few of my other files as the time/date if activity is the same for numerous files as the jason.html file and mob.700 and a few other files that only list programming details in programming code language.

How can I stop their activity and recurrance on my phone?

I can't find much on the web about jason.html, although there's some possible association with WhatsApp. Do you use that?

Captiveportallogin is just 1 suspicious android apps. AT&T has me flagged and locked out my acct and periodically lockdown my phone bc I told them to quit selling private customer info to gov.

Should I root my phone. I installed an anti spyware and keep getting messages something about something was installed on my phone ised by LE agencies

Welcome to Android Central! CaptivePortalLogin is a normal Android system app. It controls the window that pops up when you connect to a public wi-fi network, and are asked to log in with a password for that network. For example, if you connect to the Starbucks Wi-fi, the popup window that shows up and asks you to accept the terms and conditions for their free wi-fi is controlled by CaptivePortalLogin.

Go into Playstore and put malwarebytes app on your phone, if it is malicious, it will tell you

No although it may be a program that came with my phone. One of the reasons for my concerns about these issues is that they all began on the same date when I downloaded or watched music/video or possible app. Since that day I have noticed a string of files or programs that seem to log programming info on a daily basis or restart and repeat process whn I delete them. Not sure whether they are valid or malicious actions as well as whether they are using valuable memory on phone
