I am curious to see when all of the tablets get their updates. My main draw to the Xoom is that it is the Google reference device. I hope Samsung can keep their promises about getting the update out in the next few weeks. They have been woefully poor at getting updates out to their phones.

The samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 needs to be updated. It doesn't have an SD card slot and from what I have read it doesn't record at 1080p.

Re: Comparison Chart: Xoom, Transformer, Galaxy, TouchPad
BIG and Really BIG, you forgot to mention the Acer Iconia has a full size USB PORT along with the mini port. Also, the Iconia A501 doesn't require a 3g dongle as it's internal Sim. The A500 does, but there's only 50 bucks seperating the 2.
Also, currently $499 is for the Iconia 32gb. The 16gb in your chart is $399. ($50 price drop?) Accoring to your source Best Buy.
So you're shortsheeting the Iconia
Other than that, a good comparison!! Prices though, will be hard to keep up with, I know!!Last edited by Moscow Desire; 10-06-2011 at 02:29 PM.

Re: Comparison Chart: Xoom, Transformer, Galaxy, TouchPad
Hey Milo, why did you leave the fact out, that the A500/A501 come with Full size 2.0 USB ports? When most of the rest don't? Considering it allows one to connect USB devices, .Like an external HDD, and other USB devices. And yes, you can conect a 1tb HDD quite nicely using Drive Mount for example.
Just seems strange you left that piece of information out of your comparisons. Why? The specs have been out for almost a year.
In otherwords, I will beat this dead horse, until the mechanical specs are honest.Last edited by Moscow Desire; 10-10-2011 at 10:26 AM.
