Why can't I move apps to my SD card?

So, I've been trying to move apps to my SD card, but every app I try says, 'Couldn't move app.' I'm not sure the problem, and any suggestions would be appreciated. And yes, I have tons of memory on the SD card, in case that comes up.

The dev has to turn it on for their app and your firmware has to support that functionality.

Many, if not most, will not let you move them.

Use the SD card for your photos, music, videos, and documents.
Leave the apps on the internal storage.

The app developer has to allow it. You don't really want to be executing apps from the SD card anyways. Internal memory is supposed to be faster, more reliable and don't quote me on this but I think its more battery efficient too. Its best to execute the app from internal memory and direct media files to the SD card for storage.
