I got a droid for verizon when it came out. My brother is getting the nexus one when it comes out since is contract ends in a month. He however wants the droid and I want the N1. Does verizon allow us to change phones?

Yes you will be allowed to do this. He can perform the upgrade on his line, then you can ask Verizon to swap the ESN of both lines.

Yep, there will be no issue at all doing this. In fact it was just done a week ago while I was there with my Ex and her father on their family plan. She wanted the Palm Pre Plus, and he was up for the upgrade, and they used his upgrade and then switched the palm pre plus to her. Pretty simple process really.
