Hotmail issue

Sorry if this has been brought up before. I use a hotmail account fir the collage I go to and set it up in the default mail app. However I can only send not recieve. When I did the manuel setup it only asked for the out going server not incoming.

Which email app are you using? Default email app? K-9 Mail? MailDroid?

You might want to try one of the other email apps and see if it works better for you.

I have an evo so whatever mail app comes with it

I use a hotmail account also. I open my mailbox, select Menu/Settings/ then Scroll till you see Server settings (incoming and outgoing). You should be able to input the setings there.

Mail programs are a little different, but you get the general idea.

Not a problem. A lot of smart people here with experience on android. Most are willing to give their "2 cents worth".
