Deleted file from internal memory keeping shown when new file has same file name of old one?

I can see old deleted pic file in a gallery when new pic file has a name of old deleted file name.

I want to permanently delete that deleted old file from internal memory in download

All files are stored in internal memory & pic files are camera pics.

Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! Use a file manager app to look in the /DCIM/.thumbnails directory. See if a thumbnail with that filename still exists. If so, delete it. (Or you could just delete all of the contents of the .thumbnails directory -- the system will regenerate the thumbnails it needs when it needs them.)
