Turn down screen resolution?

Is there any way to turn screen resolution down in the interest of extending SOT? I don't always need maximum resolution for everything.

Is there a 3rd party app that does this?

I'm not aware of any phones that have this feature. I know you sometimes can if you root the phone, but that can cause issues with how things line up on the screen (or "off screen"). In feral, it's just not something I'd recommend.

Yeah me too... I ask because the S8 and S8+ have settings for this. Is it something unique to Samsung?

I'm not familiar with Samsung, so I don't know. I know some like my V20 have an option to change things like icon sizes, but it's not changing the actual screen resolution.
