Scrolling accros the screen, getting used to it

I'm new to this, anyone have any tips on the fact that, whenever I try to brush across the screen to make it scroll, it often times takes it as a selection of the first think I touch.

Not sure if that makes sense, but it's frustrating.

Ha Ha!! I guess, I'm starting to get the hang of it now. Everytime I touched the screen, it took it as a "selection", and when I'd take a swipe, the next screen was coming up already.

Just took some practice.
