Sorry if this has already been posted...

When I set up a calendar event, and invite someone, I never get a response as to whether or not the person is attending. I have experimented with inviting my husband to events, and I know he responds, but still no e-mail or pop-up or anything. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
