Ok, so I've done a bunch of reading and it appears that Android still doesn't have the functionality to remind you of missed calls/emails/texts audibly on an ongoing basis.
I've looked at programs such as missed call or missed reminder, and these apps solve most of my problems (though I'm not sure how battery life will be affected yet), but I'm still unable to get ongoing reminders for missed corporate email. The missed reminder email only works with gmail (unless I missed it).
So I guess I have two questions:
1. What are peoples experience with battery drain using missed reminder.
2. What are the options for a non-gmail account, does a program like touchdown or some free app have the option for ongoing reminders?
I have a droid charge if it matters.
