Relax man. Have you gone over to the G2X forum? I suggest u search through that. Ill see what i can find for you to root your G2X. For the meanwhile keep tabs on this post? Goodluck!

EDIT: Heres a thread you can go over to root your phone man. I can help you when you got the custom hboot & you got to get your recovery image on there.

Hey man I've searched all over and found a thread to root my EVO 3D and I followed the while thread to a T but couldn't root ny phone

Whats the thread you found? Post the link let me read it. You probably just gained an S-Off status on your phone & not actually rooted it. Do u have a custom recovery image on your phone or a custom hboot?

Idk I just started looking into rooting my phone. I found it on here, just typed how to root EVO 3D. I don't have anything. If you could post me a link to follow cause I want to root but I'm kinda new about phones.
