Switching from a stupid phone to a smart one.

Hey guys, I currently have an antique of a device.(Samsung t229) As you can see, this is even older than the popular Razr back in the day. I'm looking for powerful device since I like to play games. It doesn't matter which network since I am able to switch to adjust. I am willing to wait between 3-5 months for a solid device. Any suggestions?

I believe that would be Samsung Galaxy SII, still Samsung too :P

I've been mulling over that phone. i've also been looking at the Galaxy Nexus but i'm getting mixed feelings. I understand that technology is always evolving so I can't just keep waiting for the next best thing since it's a never-ending cycle. Also, brand doesn't matter either. 8)
