Mytouch Slide or Samsung S

Since it looks like the S will be coming to T-mobile and the Slide is just a few days away and my G1 getting old(although rooted) I am asking myself this question so I thought I would ask you guys. The Slide is by HTC and we know will be getting Froyo but is a mid level phone(with big price) with no big improvements on the specs and low built in storage. The S on the other hand is by Samsung(remember the Instinct) who is also building there own OS, but this phone has specs and features to die for but do i trust Samsung to update this phone.
What do you all think-Slide or S?

HTC especially after the Behold 2 joke, not sure if you can trust Samsung, they should stick to TV's

Samsung has potential to make great things, but their track record with phones is pretty bad. I would wait till its released and see reviews ect. HTC would be a safer bet, but don't count out the GS is it interests you. Just wait so you have more info.

Samsung. It IS being upgraded to 2.2, its just a matter of when. (like the MTS)

The MTS is a nice phone and will be alright for a mid-level device. BUT, if the Galaxy turns out to cost $199 or close to that, you would be insane to get the HTC over it.
