Just posted my thoughts on the One after getting used to it. http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc...-days-one.html Definitely best viewed on the desktop, since so much of the formatting is just lost in the mobile apps.

I am holding out for the x, and maybe longer if it doesn't wow me. My note 2 is still solid, but the battery isn't lasting as long as it once did, so I may buy another one if I decide to keep the note until Christmas devices roll in. Nice write up Pat, good information.

Guys,The power of the mini compels me.If i could afford the MAXX i would get it. But i really want wireless charging so the mini is the answer for me.Plain and simple.

You know what though if the one gets launched before the mini on verizon..and it for some shocking reason is 99 dollars that is going to make for an extremely difficult decision.

The camera on the mini looks promising if only someone would get their hands on one long enough to see just how good it is..

It is good that Motorola is finally making phones with good cameras.

Someone buy me a new nexus 7..please. Lol. Anyways if 4.3 fixes the "lag"(i'm not getting any lag,but whatever) and improves the battery life on my nexus 7 i might be able to deal with not being able to upgrade

If you have a custom recovery there is a slight risk of it trying to "correct" your system recovery while flashing an OTA. It's very unlikely to fail or cause a boot loop, etc. Other choices are creating a complete build directly from Google and then re-rooting the device and/or waiting for someone to post a flashable pre-rooted .zip version.

Okay,so i can simply go ahead and flash stock 4.2.2 and then wait to sideload 4.3?
